Call for Nominations - Editor of International Journal of Business Communication

The Publications Board of the Association for Business Communication (ABC) is soliciting nominations by May 31 for the Editor of International Journal of Business Communication (IJBC). Self-nominations are welcome. IJBC, first published in 1963, is one of the oldest and most prominent research journals in the field of business communication.

The Editor serves for a four-year term that can be renewed. In that first term, the Editor has responsibility for publishing volumes 55-58 (2018-2021). To allow for a smooth transition, we ask the incoming editor to shadow and work with the current editor from July 1, 2017, or as soon as possible thereafter, until December 31, 2017. During that time, the incoming editor will learn about the journal and its submission, review, and publication processes. In addition, we will ensure that the incoming editor has an opportunity to meet the key staff at SAGE. Finally, if at all possible, the incoming editor will travel to the ABC annual conference in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland (at ABC’s expense) to meet the Board of Directors. The incoming editor’s responsibilities will commence January 1, 2018.

Please see the complete Call for IJBC Editor on ABC's IJBC Publication page:  http://www.businesscommunication.org/page/ijbc
