ABC Detroit Conference Schedule and Excursions

We hope you have the ABC Annual International Conference on your calendar for October 23-26, 2019.  Check out the Detroit conference page for details on registration, lodging, optional workshops, optional excursions, and schedules.  YES!  The presenter schedule is posted.

 

Excursions

Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation ($69)   Saturday, October 26  noon-5:30 pm

Prepare to be astounded with the kaleidoscope of history on this "must-do" post-conference excursion.  "At The Hnery Ford, you'll discover America--its culture, inventions, people, and can-do spirit--and hundreds of hands-on ways to explore it, enjoy it and be inspired by it."  Departing near noon Saturday, Oct 26, we'll return about 5:30 pm.  Jump on the bus and go with us! 

We have reservations at The Henry Ford, so sign up now with your conference registration to ensure your spot at this world-class history museum.  This $69 excursion covers museum admission, a light lunch, and round trip transportation.   Read more.

Walking Tour  ($25) Wednesday, October 23   2:30-4:30 pm

Join friends and colleagues on a cultural and industrial stroll through Detroit's central business district.   In this two-hour tour, with easy-to-moderate walking, hear stories about Detroit's architectural and commercial past, and about current restoration and transformation efforts.  Read more.

Registration and Lodging

Your early registration helps us with planning; register by August 30 for the best rate.  Reserve lodging by September 29 for the $185 room rate.  Rooms could sell out sooner.
