Job Description

Seeking a candidate with a master’s degree to teach multiple sections of the College’s junior-level required business communication course, which emphasizes written and oral communication skills. Candidate should meet AACSB hiring standards. 

Responsibilities also include conducting one-to-one and group consultations with undergraduate and graduate students within the College’s Communication Center, along with assisting in the Center’s continued growth and development. Service to the department, college, university and community, as well as appropriate maintenance of AACSB qualification credentials, are expected.

International teaching opportunities available.

Academic Qualifications

Master degree in professional writing, rhetoric, technical communication, written and/or oral communication, or another appropriate field.

Experience Requirements

Experience with technology-mediated and multimodal communication techniques preferred.

Relevant professional experience teaching writing, business writing, business communication, or working in a writing or communication center desired.

Recent work experience that required professional written and oral communication skills will also be considered.
