Job Description

As a tenure-track member of the faculty, candidates will be expected to develop a record of scholarly research necessary to obtain tenure and to regularly teach undergraduate and graduate technical communication courses. The teaching load for research faculty is 2/2.

Academic Qualifications

Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in technical communication, professional communication, or related field by the time of appointment. Applicants should have a defined research agenda, the ability to teach a variety of foundational courses in the field of technical communication, and experience teaching courses in technical communication.

Experience Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates who have a scholarly and/or pedagogical interest in content management, strategy, and development or user experience.
