Submission Guidelines

2024 Western U.S. Conference

Open May 1 through October 27

All submissions should

  1. provide an overview (extended abstract) of your proposal in 300-500 words (not including references),
  2. include an enticing short program abstract consisting of 50 words or less for inclusion in the event program, and
  3. indicate if you would like to share your content as a 20-minute presentation, a 60-minute panel with three or more presenters, or as a 30-minute demonstration or activity.

Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis and approval notices will be sent to the submitter, any co-presenters and any co-authors on a rolling basis.

Membership and Guest Information

Presenters must be either an ABC member or an organization guest. A presenter or co-presenter can create an Organizational Guest account (no member benefits) by visiting the ABC membership page; guest presenters must establish this account prior to submission. Contact ABC for assistance.

Secure permission to include co-presenters in your presentation before submitting a group proposal.

Inform co-presenters (if any) that they must pay to register, and then attend and present at the conference.
If your co-presenter(s) (if any) cannot attend the conference, please list these individuals as co-authors.
