Board the 11-person shuttle at 2:45pm for the 3:30 ticketed entry at the Dali. This afternoon visit to the Dali Museum allows time for a guided museum tour, plus time to explore the architecturally significant building and gift shop. You can enjoy an early dinner-on-your-own at their renowned cafe either under an umbrella on their patio or inside. Look for the fun photo-opportunities on their grounds. (Note: cafe and grounds are subject to early closure for private functions.)

Florida Aquarium - Education and Conservation

  4:45 PM leave Aquarium for return to Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay (or linger in downtown Tampa with return on-your-own)

Jump on our 11-passenger shuttle with 12:15 PM departure to the Florida Aquarium. This afternoon visit to Tampa's Florida Aquarium allows time for lunch-on-your-own prior to the Aquarium 2:45 PM timed group entry. Before entering the aquarium, walk one block to Greenwise Market and eat on their small porch. This upscale Public's-owned market opened in 2022 and offers a sushi station, fresh fired pizzas, a build your own bowl station, a massive salad bar, a full deli, and plenty of grab-and-go (or sit there). Enjoy tasty and affordable choices.

At 5-minutes prior museum entry-time, gather to enter the aquarium as a group. The aquarium focuses on education and conservation. Touch a jelly fish, learn about their successful coral spawning program, and relax with great water views. Food and beverages are available on-your-own.

After the visit, jump back on our shuttle at 4:45 PM to return to the hotel, or linger in the area. If you stay-on-your own, find Sparkman Wharf near the aquarium with light food, casual shopping, people watching, and outdoor music on Friday and Saturday nights.  Restaurants operate from shipping containers and a beer garden has a nice selection.  Want to strike with some upscale bowling?  Splitsville at Sparkman's Wharf has bowling, ping pong, billiards, and food to include their popular fried chicken.

Catch a ride to Armature Works which hosts an innovative food hall where you can order food and sit outside, along with full service, sit down restaurants (reservations recommended.) The conference co-chairs rate this highly. After eating, you might stroll along the Riverwalk.

Dress for the weather and wear your walking shoes.
