Let’s Take the AI Journey Together - ABC Research Summit at Annual Conference in Denver

Undoubtedly, our students will use ChatGPT and other generative AI tools this Fall. AI is impacting business communication in many ways. Do you want to join a learning and research community to explore the intersection of AI and business communication?

On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the Association for Business Communication will hold a daylong “AI and Business Communication Research Summit” in Denver, in conjunction with this year’s ABC Annual International Conference.

The Summit will be broadly divided into two related themes: (1) AI in the workplace and (2) AI literacy and pedagogy.

This event will be hands-on, interactive and fun. We’ll engage in demos, collaborate, discuss, commiserate and laugh.

A major goal of this exciting and new event is to form working groups that will continue to explore AI topics of interest after the conference ends. These groups will learn together and share findings in symposia, conferences, media articles, journal publications and elsewhere.

You can find a longer description of the Summit here:

Please consider joining this unique event that we hope will grow into a community of researchers and friends. The cost to attend is $50 in addition to your ABC Conference registration fee. The event is open to approximately 60 conference participants. Once you register, your spot will be secured.
