The deadline for you to sponsor student submissions to the 2024 Student Competition Award is May 17.
Dr. Rachel Dolechek of Fort Hays State University wrote the winning 2024 Student Competition case. The case asks students to compose a persuasive, evidence-backed email encouraging employees in the scenario's company to complete additional training about smart device etiquette.
Winning entries will receive a plaque at the annual ABC conference. The 1st place winner will receive $300; the 2nd and 3rd place winners will also be recognized with a monetary award. The recipient's instructor will be announced at the annual conference.
If you have a particularly strong writer in one of your business communication courses, they may be interested in this opportunity. You can sponsor students' submissions through the submission site.
