Call for Participants-How Do You Teach Diversity? ABC Detroit Oct 24-26

As you’re preparing for our Detroit Conference, please consider being part of the lightning roundtable: “How Do You Teach Diversity?”  The roundtable will be a forum in which panelists—and audience--will share best practices.  The idea is for panelists to share an assignment in a lightning round in which each will have three to five minutes to present (depending on number of participants).  The session is a good way for people to try out a new topic that they can turn into something more substantial.  They then can fine tune based on feedback.

All participants will get their names and the names of their assignments in the conference program.  Your work also has the potential to be archived and shared widely through the ABC website.  Being part of this panel can be an easy step to presenting at ABC.

We debuted this forum four years ago and have had such overwhelming participation that we’re bringing it back again by popular demand.  We have now grown to three sessions.

Although it may seem early, spots fill fast.  So why not take a few minutes to send your ideas now?

What we need is your name, the name of your assignment, a brief description of the assignment, the name of your institution or affiliate.  Ultimately, we’ll also want a copy of any handouts that you’ll be using, so if you have those now, why not send them along, too?  Here’s the link to submit:  http://tinyurl.com/y2636ysj
