Graduate Student Travel Grants Available

The Association for Business Communication is pleased to announce the ABC Graduate Student Travel Grants. Several $400 travel grants will be awarded to support graduate students presenting at the ABC International Conference in Miami, Florida, October 24–27, 2018. The travel grants will be presented during the conference.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program at the time of the conference and must have applied to present at the conference. The awarding of the grant will be contingent on acceptance to present at the conference. Grants will be awarded based on both merit and need, with preference given to first-time attendees. Grant recipients will be asked to donate two hours of service at the conference (e.g., staffing the registration table or helping to coordinate the silent auction, etc.).

To be considered for a grant, please complete this application no later than June 15. This form can be submitted before receiving an acceptance to the ABC conference, as long as the applicant has already applied to present at the conference. Recipients of the grant will be notified in July. Please direct any questions about these grants to the chair of the Graduate Studies Committee, Stephen Carradini (Sacarrad@ASU.edu).
