The National Communication Association Liaison Committee:
1. Maintains ongoing forum discussions with committee members about topics related to NCA issues.
2. Serves as ABC liaison with the NCA by organizing and overseeing the ABC sessions/panels ensuring they consist of business communication presentations at the NCA annual convention.
3. Sends out Call for Papers to ABC members; reads and reviews submissions; posts papers/abstracts from the ABC sessions at the NCA annual convention on the ABC website.
4. Encourages junior faculty members and students to submit proposals to present at the NCA annual convention.
5. Promotes the ABC sessions/panels at the NCA annual convention to ABC members.
6. Promotes the field of business communication in the NCA.
7. Encourages members to develop ABC presentations and journal articles related to NCA.
8. Develops informational document/s for dissemination through email to those interested in NCA and posts them on ABC website.
9. Requests committee members additions/drops by first logging into ABC and then completing the Committee Update Request form at: http://tinyurl.com/CommitteeUpdateRequest.
