ABC Student Travel Grants

The Association for Business Communication is pleased to announce the availability of several $400 Student Travel Grants to support graduate and undergraduate students who will deliver a presentation at the 2023 ABC Annual International Conference in Denver, Colorado USA, October 25-28, 2023.

The travel grant is contingent on attending and participating onsite in the Denver conference. The grants will be recognized during the Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 27.

Eligible applicants must be new or current ABC members who are enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at the time of the conference. Applicants must have had a proposal accepted to the 2023 conference in Denver. Grants will be awarded based on both merit and need, with preference given to first-time attendees. To qualify for a discounted ABC Student Membership or a Student Travel Grant, an individual may not be employed in a full-time professional position.

New!  Through the end of 2024, Student Travel Grants will also be available to graduate and undergraduate students whose proposal has been accepted to an ABC regional conference. This new initiative is being piloted to provide students greater access to ABC events and additional opportunities to present their research to a wider professional audience. The same eligibility criteria for a Student Travel Grant to an annual conference will be applied to an ABC regional conference.
