The Association for Business Communication is pleased to announce the availability of several $400 Student Travel Grants to support graduate and undergraduate students who will deliver a presentation at the Annual International Conference.
Eligible applicants must meet these criteria:
- Be new or current ABC members.
- Be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at the time of the conference.
- Have submitted a proposal to present at the conference.
- Not be employed in a full-time academic or professional position.
Grants will be awarded based on both merit and need, with preference given to first-time attendees. In addition, grant recipients must have their proposal accepted and they must attend and present onsite at the conference. Students are welcome to apply for a grant before they have been notified whether or not their proposal has been accepted. Recipients will be recognized during the conference's Awards Ceremony with funding disbursed electronically after the conference concludes.
The Student Travel Grant application can be found at the bottom of this page after logging into the ABC website.
Please direct any questions about the Student Travel Grants to Matt Baker, Graduate Studies Committee Chair.
Regional Opportunity
Student Travel Grants are also available to graduate and undergraduate students whose proposal has been accepted to an ABC regional conference. The same eligibility criteria for a Student Travel Grant to an annual conference will be applied to an ABC regional conference.
