Copyright for all articles published in the Journal
of Business Communication dated 1996 and later
is vested in the Association for Business Communication.
Copyright
for all articles published in the Journal of Business
Communication prior to 1996 is held by individual
authors and permission to photocopy must be secured
directly from the authors.
Permission
to Photocopy
Articles
in the Journal of Business Communication
dated 1996 and later may be photocopied freely for
educational (noncommercial) purposes under the following
conditions:
Use of the
photocopies must be for educational purposes exclusively,
not for commercial publication or for other commercial
purposes of any type.
Citation
of the source of the publication must be provided
in full on the first page of each copied article as
follows: the authors, date, article title, journal,
volume, number, and inclusive pages. In addition,
the following statement should appear on the first
page: "Reprinted with the permission of the Association
for Business Communication."

Restrictions
on Permission to Photocopy
Reproduction
in whole or in part for commercial purposes must be
approved by the ABC Executive Director and royalties
must be paid to the Association.
Photocopying
of articles and chapters from ABC publications from
1995 and earlier is not covered. Individual authors
hold the copyright to all materials published by ABC
before 1996, and permission to photocopy must be secured
directly from the authors.
