Outstanding Article on Business Communication in Non-ABC Journal

Purpose/Description

The award for Outstanding Article on Business Communication in non-ABC Journal was awarded 2019-2021 to an article meeting the criteria described below. The award recipients received a plaque, and a one-year full membership in the Association. In 2022, it became part of the Distinguished Publication on Business Communication Award.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Contributes significantly to scholarship, research, and/or pedagogy.
  2. Demonstrates originality of thought and careful investigation.
  3. Is well-written, lucid, and engaging
  4. Is published in hard copy or OnlineFirst in the calendar year preceding the annual conference at which the award is presented.

Authors are not eligible to receive this award two years in a row. Publications may not be nominated more than once.

Nominations were made by members. The ABC Publication Board chaired by Jason Snyder selected the recipient of the award.

Previous Winners

Award established 2019 and was last awarded in 2021.  In 2022, it became part of the Distinguished Publication on Business Communication Award.
