Annual Conference Decisions Emailed

We have emailed proposal decisions for ABC's 81st Annual International Conference in Albuquerque. Thank you to everyone who submitted; we are excited by the breadth of engaging presentations and panels we will have at this year's conference!

Be sure to make your reservations soon for our conference hotel, the Hotel Albuquerque.  Located directly across the street from Old Town, the Hotel Albuquerque will enchant you with its southwestern charm and hospitality.  Our conference meeting rooms are all located on one floor, allowing ease of movement from session to session and plenty of space to network and engage with colleagues and friends. The pavilion and Spanish gardens are lovely and relaxing for mingling, socializing, or just enjoying the outdoors. Garduños, the hotel restaurant, features delicious authentic regional New Mexican fare in a hacienda-style interior or outdoor garden patio.

Just across the street in Historic Old Town, conference goers will experience a plethora of shops featuring local artisans, restaurants, and museums.  For exercise junkies (or those who simply enjoy the outdoors), Tiguex Park is less than a 5 minute walk and across from the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History.  The Albuquerque BioPark is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel and features a botanic garden, zoo, aquarium, and walking/running/biking paths along the Rio Grande.

We will be posting more about Albuquerque on the conference website over the next months as we lead up to the conference as well as blog posts with more information about conference workshops, sessions, and events.

In the meantime, be sure to check out Virginia's posts and photos on Facebook from our recent site visit, including her video of our tram ride to Sandía Peak.  And enjoy the video below with a description and view of this lovely venue.
