Dear Colleagues:
I have two pieces of good news for your graduate students.
First, the ABC Graduate Travel Scholarship deadline has been extended to Sep. 15, so have them apply now!
Second, for this year ONLY, the scholarship has been opened up to Ph.D. students who may want to attend the conference, but who aren’t presenting. Please encourage your graduate students to attend and get to know ABC by taking advantage of this unique opportunity.
The scholarships will be presented at the Presidential Awards Dinner Fridayevening of the conference. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program at the time of the conference. Scholarships will be awarded based on both merit and need, with preference given to first-time attendees, though ALL graduate students are encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients will be asked to donate two hours of service at the conference (e.g., staffing the registration table, helping to coordinate the silent auction, etc.).
To be considered for a scholarship, please complete this application no later than September 15, 2016. Please direct any questions about these scholarships to the chair of the Graduate Studies Committee, Matt Sharp.
